I graduated eight years ago from Denver Seminary with an MA in NT and have been wanting to go back for a PhD ever since. The degree comes at a cost, which, so far, I and my family haven’t been able to afford. But, as with you at the point when you wrote your post, things look like they are beginning to move, ever so slowly, in that direction. I wonder if you have been able to begin a program? Thanks for sharing a bit of your story and how Rikk Watts was a part of it. I’ll have to get better acquainted with him! I suspect I’d enjoy doing so with you as well. Grace and peace.
Mark Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16678503994869895384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6378025299582121922.post-3370543187233947262013-12-24T05:31:03.503-05:002013-12-24T05:31:03.503-05:00How funny. I just met Rikk Watts for the first time as well this year at Baltimore, and was able to tell him how much encouragement he's given me through his courses. It would have been cool to meet you, a fellow scholar-to-be & a fan for Regent Audio, as well. I have them all and have studied with and listened to most of them several times. Because of my age and personal circumstances I have missed the boat as far as formal studies are concerned, but Rikk has increased my understanding many times over. I am enriched so much by his combination of academic knowledge and its application.

A blessed Christmas to you,

Peter Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
