Ramone Billinglsey, a former classmate of mine at Ashland Theological Seminary, is someone to whom I affectionately refer to as "my brother from another mother." He was the one classmate of mine that was so similar to me in terms of the way we approached our studies and our classes, I always felt that in our conversations each of us knew exactly where the other was coming from.
Ramone is now a PhD student in Old Testament at Durham University and he has a blog that speaks to this journey called The Scribal Pen. I cannot commend it highly enough, and if you are looking to do a PhD (as I am), Ramone has some great advice that may help others.
